Anyone know why (or how to prevent) Max sometimes starts using almost a full core of processor when it is in the background doing nothing? Not rendering, just open in the background. A lot of times I run multiple copies of Max. Sometimes they can go for hours or days with no issue. Sometimes I look in the Task Manager and one or more of the background Max's are using the processor.
Even Disabling all viewports has no effect.
Doesn't matter if it is minimized or on another Wind10 Desktop, etc.
I'd like to be able to leave Max open without it wasting CPU cycles.
