ive got 2 days to render my animation... i have 128gb in my workstation and my scene renders fine, reaching about 120 gb ram usage max.
just sent a test scene to the 'farm, where all their machines have 128gb.
got a message back from them saying the scenes went well over 128gb and started heavily paging , and they would be unable to render the shots...
what could be causing this? would a dual xeon use more ram than a threadripper for the same scene for example?
im very worried need to find a solution to this ASAP!!!
