  • normal maps from other material creation software

    hello. i have a tool that helps me create materials incl normal maps. i found that with that programs default settings, i have to set my vray normal map to "flip green".

    in my program i have two options: 1 is: Y+(Unity, OpenGL, Blender) and 2nd is: Y-(Unreal, DirectX). if i change that from the default of Y- to Y+ would that matter in the vray normal bump. i've tried it and doesn't seem to make a difference. hm.
