  • Retrieving Gbuffer channels from openEXR files

    Hi!

I´m starting to use the Splutterfish OpenEXR output for max 7. I´ve created the highest bit depth avaliable and checked the output of all extra channels, as zbuffer, object, material and render id´s, etc. I´ve told vray to output these channels as well. But when i import it into combustion, it doesn´t seem to recognise any of the buffers I´ve tried some google searchs but no luck, lots of university techy threads, it´s scary!
So, have u had any experience trying to composite openEXR images in combustion, after effects, etc using the gbuffer channels?

When i try the same with RPF files, it works perfectly, but openEXR has the benefit of being able to store higher luminance levels which improve a lot levels adjustments and CC plus the ability to handle gbuffer channels...if it worked!
