I'm completely unsure of this - somewhere, along the line, was calculating IR maps supported by DR? Is that why it renders in 1 pass when DR is activated? So now there is benefit to rendering on DR with IR maps uncalculated because they'll all speed that process along, where before it was better to calculate and save, and then do DR with From File mode.
