  • Reusing irradiance map...

I rendered an image over the network (with autosave active) and I stopped it before the end of the irr map compute.
Can I resume the compute loading the saved irr map and chosing something add to current map?... (I don't think this is the way...)

Ok, I put the question in a different way: If I stop the irr map calculation (because I'm late, the PC hangs up, or something else) and I save the map, can I use something like 'add to current map', to reuse the portion of the map already saved (but not in memory!) ?

you can, just takes an extra step, and can only be done in an interactive max..

Basically just render a single frame with the "From File" option, then switch to incremental add to current map.. and save to file again when you're done..

This is something that would be quite helpful to have in net rendering but so far is still on the wishlist
