i need to render out my vray sky, with env. fog clouds as an hdri to map back into the scene.
to do this i need to render without exposure correction, so it looks the same when exposure corrected with the rest of the scene.
rendering the environment with exposure correction = 1 hour
rendering the environment without exposure correction (total whiteout in vfb) 15 hrs estimated and counting.
any way to fix this? never understood why rendering overexposed things takes so long? its just the same render with higher final pixel values..? or? any help to get the rendertime down with the same final result -much-appreciated, i have a deadline!
