Hi,
today I see a strange behaviors of my rendernode. The scene is a very heavy exterior scene. Similar that:
I Use a DR for rendering.
Main workstation: 23.7 GB
Node1: 22.9 GB used - 24Gb INSTALLED (I7 970)
Node2: 16.7 GB used - 24Gb INSTALLED (I7 970)
Node3: 17.4 GB used - 24Gb INSTALLED (I7 970)
Node4: 18.8 GB used - 20Gb INSTALLED (Old DualXeon Quadcore)
etc...
Max. tree 80
Min Leaf 0.0
Face 2.0
Dynamic memory on 18000MB
Auto
For this project, the assets are on the Main Workstation.
On the nodes we have only OS and 3ds max installed.
Why one node uses a 23 GB and another 17. So 6 GB difference for two identical rendernode?? I understand for the main Workstation (load the file etc... but also I think 7 GB is a lot of difference)
Side note: with the last VRay version and multiscatter version, if I've a lots of proxy (grass) one each over, the CPU usage is very low.
