Hello all, I'm reading up on the animation prepass for irradiance map, and most of the tutorials are a little bit old or don't mention this directly. Can I send a job for animation prepass to the farm? Or do I need to do it on one single computer? (Older tuts so 1 machine but didn't know if it's been updated or what...)
In addition, I did a quick test to see how much detail needs to be in the prepass. I noticed I was able to do things after the bake like material subdivs (which I didn't expect) and even more surprising was the ability to change the noise threshold after the bake, and my question here is are there any negative repercussions to this?
Should I hide my glass for an animation pre-pass? Or just make it invisible to GI? (Ive heard both.)
What about material changes after the bake? I'd think you really couldn't do it but I figured I'd ask.
