  • baked lightmap looks blurry

    hello,
    i am wondering why my baked material is looking so blurry,
    maybe i missed something...
    i am rendering the lightmap of a concrete vray material in 1024 resolution
    with only an (directional) area light as a sun with the "high" preset.
    the same is with my gras material, the textures are looking very washed out altough i tried "none" bitmap-filtering and also a high AA...

    do i have to use "bake texture" to bake the texture first instead of baking the lightmap ???
    when i choose bake texture the material browser pops up and i have to open/choose a material/ or bitmap and i don't know what to do then...
    (i asked this question some times ago here, but even couldn't explain it in a better way ...-excuse me john!)

    could someone tell me what i have to do when i want to render a diffuse bitmap in a vray material and this material browser appears ???

    or any suggestions about how to avoid the blurry lightmaps???

    it would be a vvvvvveeeeeerrry big help for me
