Hi,
when I do the tutorials and follow the steps outlined my renders are very dark. I am working in cm in max, when I open a file and set the scene to the file scale then it all seems allright. However I get the same thing when using files imported from acad in cm. My results are allways different from the samples and tutorials. Is there a way around this? I read that scenes should not be rescaled, so how do I go about this and what is the relation between photon mapping and the max units setup ?? Any help is very appreciated, deadline is closing in and I'm still in the dark... Thanks a lot
