I really wish there was some way to save out a text file (or something) with the final gamma, mapping type, and offsetting information (heck, everything) for each image used with vray hdri so that it 'remembers' (or saves) what the last production settings were for that image when it's loaded. (We could make a library of the HDRI map slots, but frankly new users seem to always screw up the libraries somehow.) It would also be nice if that file was not local, so new employees will get the correct interpretation instantly and increase productivity when loading those files off the network.
Maybe just a 'save settings as' option in the menu, with an option on save to instantly load the saved file whenever you load that image. No idea how hard this would be, but it would be pretty sweet to not have to fix some of the crappier hdris every time we need to use them. (Not vray's fault, but vray could help solve the problem. You know how it is with hdri's, some are gamma corrected and some aren't.)
EDIT: dangit, meant to post this in suggestions. Can a mod move please?
