Well I am using vray now for quite a while, not saying that iam a natural genuis with it but i find my way around it. My question now is animation specific. I was always wondering how to decrease the rendertime without making the shadows flick around. THe only solution i found is to have lots of prepasses at least 4. THis makes rendering very slow. I was going through the forum and i stumbled upon the 3gb switch thing, which apperently doesnt work for my but thats a different quest. However I read that a guy pre renders or is doing something with IR map every 30 frames. THis made me think, which most of the threads in this forum How does it work, i assumed when u have a camera movement and movment on the object you have to calculate every IR map for each frame, correct? But how do you actually do it. With or without backburner and a slave IR map computer. Is anyone willing to let light into this subject. Maybe through a tutorial video or pics.
