  • absorption shading control for VRayVolumeGrid?

    Hi,

We have been trying to create space nebula in 3dsMax. First, we used FumeFX, then Krakatoa. In the end, we choose PHX + VRayVolumeGrid as our main workflow. Because 1) VRayVolumeGrid allow me to scale up / down "nebula" cache files, so we can randomly scatter our cache in space 2) I can "blur" or smooth out my cache, which can not be done with FumeFX.

My question is, is there any shading control like Krakatoa that I can give color to my smoke and at the same time assign the color to be absorbed. I.e., green smoke that absorbs red color. Here are images I created with Krakatoa:
