I have a scene that is acting unpredictable when rendering on the farm. I assume it's memory related.
1. Is there any easy way to see memory required for a rendering in Vray? Doesn't seem like the frame stamp can do this, right?
2. For the Max Tree Depth, how does it it respond to changes? For instance, is it a linear type response where using 40 instead of default of 80 would use roughly half as much memory? Or is it some type of exponential response where 40 would be a drastic reduction in usage. Basically I want to know what is a reasonable adjustment range.
3. Same question for Face/Level coefficient. What are reasonable adjustments if I need to save memory? Is it between 1 and 2? Or 1 and 10? Or more?
