i finally was able to make a batch process to switch 30PC rendering farm between 1.09 and 1.46 in a matter of 5 minutes.
I get render farm bookings from other studios where i must accomodate every client with their particular VRAY version...
I am still going to request 1.09 irradiance map viewer update.
50% of my time is wasted on testing and doing things manualy.
VLADO, please dedicate some time on this and i am willing to test as many time as you want. There were requests from other people to make an old 1.09 imapviewer command line compatible in order to batch merge old imap files.
i am still depended on 1.09...
Also i have a question regarding batch merging imap files. Sometimes i have over 300 imap files to merge. I've generated a script on INTRANET which scans desired directory and creates command file for command prompt. The problem is... there seems to be some limitations in text buffer in command propt which doesnt let me to compete long commands.
Is this comand propt's limitation or is there way to fix that?
In my case the solution is to place IMAPS to a 1 letter named directory on C drive and use shor irmap file names... it works but is not practical.
