  • VrayUVWRandomizer blacks out all bitmap previews

    What the title says, as soon as i connect a uvwrandomizer » triplanar » vraybitmap, all bitmap previews black out. This is extremely annoying when doing lookdev. Also tried the latest nightly and the issue still persists, ever since uvwrandomizer has been implemented.

    Is there any workaround for this?

    Using slate editor, max 2020, vray 5 latest nightly.

    Hello,

    Which is the exact nightly build number you are using ? I tried with 30768 (stable nightly from today) and things seem OK in a simple test.

      On a fresh new scene it is working now, but when opening scenes saved with older versions it still bugs out. So my assumption is that shaders have to be remade in order for this to work from now on?

        There was a period with faulty builds. It should be ok now, for old scenes you can select all nodes and update them (U) because Max is caching the thumbnails and you are seeing the old ones.
        If it was that easy, it would have already been done
