  • VRLServer status page broken ?

    Hi there,

it seems that the VRLServer status page is broken. It displays the sessnionlist and then the first few entries again on the bottom.

Secondly when hitting refresh the layout breaks sometimes and it looks a tad different every now and than. This makes it next to impossible to automatically query it to build usage statistcs.

In addition i was wondering if it is possible to recieve the data in a different format from the Licserver (say xml or something ?) for the forementioned task.

And last but not least i was wondering if there is a way to have additional possibilities similar to flex (kicking users for example).

Or are these possible by querying the Wibu key directly maybe ?

    Kind Regards,
    Thorsten

It may happen if you attempt to request the status page too often, or if several different machines try to request the license page at the same time.

This is currently the only way to see the license usage. There are some options to permanently deny access to the licenses from certain IP addresses, but not much else beyond that (and changes in these settings require restart of the server). It may be possible to force the license server to regain a license if you cut the network access from the particular machine you want (through firewall software like ZoneAlarm, for example).

The license usage is stored inside the license server itself, not in the WIBU key, so it is not possible to find out license usage from it directly, unfortunately.

    Best regards,
    Vlado

There definately seems to be a problem with the page even when rendered "correctly".

It always outputs 2 <body> tags here. Seems there's something off. Also it doesnt seem to respect changes to the template.html in the Common Files dir.

      Regards,
      Thorsten

Yep, I have seen that - as I said, usually when it is requested too often, or at the same time from several locations.
