I'm rendering out the irradience map pass for a short animation segment and for the most part the buckets fly... very fast. However, I've got maybe 10-15 buckets that remain on the screen for almost a full minute after the rest of the IR map has been completed. This is causing each frame to take 10 times longer than it seems it should. It gets to be pretty significant when you add it up over hundreds or thousands of frames.
Anyone know why Vray does this? Or if there's a way to fix this? I guess I just don't understand why most buckets zip right through, and several buckets pause and slow down the whole process. Note- the slow buckets are not paused over any geometry that demands more calc time, nor are the slow buckets related to any particular render slave. It seems completely random.
