To help prevent flicker, is it necessary to remove as many mating surfaces as possible to prevent flicker? I have always thought so, or are there any settings in Vray, apart from “High animation” under the irradiance map settings, and pre-calculating the Light cache map and the Irradiance map say for 1 frame in 15 as it says in all the best tutorials?
Are Vray materials better than standard ones? if so are there any special settings in either which help, I am using plain matt materials, any settings in lights which have an effect am using just a simple direct one, with v ray shadow map
Am I missing anything apart form this?
Many thanks,
Nigel
