I'm at a company that has 4 licenses of vray max. We are doing multiple projects that will expand from 3ds max to Maya. They hired 2 other freelancers brought in thier vray dongles for Maya. Right now the the server machine has 4 dongles.
looks like this:
dongle1: 2 vray max license
dongle2: 2 vray max license
dongle3: vray maya
dongle4: vray maya, vray 3dsmax, vray rt
Obviously there is licensing errors when it comes to network rendering. currently 3dmax Vray and RT has no issues. Just Vray Maya cant obtain a license when it comes to network rendering. Whats the best configuration to make all these work? Install dongles onto separate machines and run different vlservers? The best solution is to get everything into 1 dongle but since each dongle has a different owner, what to do?
