I have been working on a house/landscape model for a few days and have been using my render farm just fine. Today, i started populating the landscape with alot of Xref trees as i normally do. Now when i try to render using the farm, none of the slaves seem to be kicking in. One of the slaves had a Memory Allocation Failure popup. Another just sits there. Haven't checked the other slaves yet.
Can anyone point me how to evaluate the Vray log and what to look for or check regarding the memory issue (I assume this is a memory issue)? I am sure that my model has ballooned at render time with all these new trees. My workstation has 20 gb RAM while all the slaves have 4gb each. Are there some recommended settings for a setup like this?
If it helps, this is from the Vray log:
Any advice on how to troubleshoot this?
