I'm having a weird issue where my max will crash as soon as the render ends when using DR. Any idea what sorts of things might cause this? Not ruling out the firewall but unsure which processes need access. Currently opening ports 30304 and 20204.
Not sure if related, but if I don't check "transfer missing assets", the DR slave doesn't see the HDRI, despite it being network linked by drive letter (not host name).
Thanks for any tips,
AJ
Edit: It seems to be related to the memory type, and maybe it's my bad here. I'm using asperity in rayfire to subdivide some rocks a bunch at render time, and if I set the memory to Auto or Static, it crashes on render end, but at dynamic it seems ok. So... it's fixed, but I didn't realize that dynamically generated geometry made a difference in here.
