Can't Cancel a Render

I have mentioned this before, however, I don't think I ever followed up. When using displacement, canceling a render is a bear. I have a small house with siding and brick, both I am using 3D displacement on, and I can't cancel the render. Without displacement, not a problem. I have 128GB of RAM, so it isn't a RAM thing. So far I have been waiting 12 minutes for it to cancel. No plugins, just simple material and v-ray displacement.

Just get yourself RailClone Pro and be done with it Bobby, like we mentioned in your other thread a while back. After that, I purchased and now I'm rendering siding in no time. No more endless struggles with displacement. So much better for your sanity

Hi Bobby,

If you're using the script and each plane of the roof is made of several polys (quads, tris or whatever) then you should select just one flat plane on the roof at a time and hold down Shift while clicking on Apply RC to Faces. This creates a boundary spline from perimeter of the selection rather than one for each face and should give you better results. If that doesn't work please feel free to upload your roof to the iToosoft forum and I'll take a close look.
