  • VrayPhysicalCamera +DOF+Max2016 bug

    Hi,

Just to report this. Couldn't find anybody else mentioning the same problem here the forum.

Open or create any scene in Max2016. Merge or create VrayPhysiclCamera and enable DOF. Renders all white. Turn off DOF and it'll render OK.

    Setup: Win 7, Max2016 SP2, Vray Adv 3.30.04

    Regards

    Zoran

    Hi,

Can't replicate it here. Would it be possible to attach your scene ?

      Hi Tashko,

Thanks for quick reply. It's OK now. I didn't realise that my exposure control was set to Physical camera exposure control.

Are people not using the Physical camera in 3ds MAX? I thought it was basically a Vray camera.

Yes, exactly. The new Max Physical camera should entirely replace the old V-Ray Physical camera.
