Is it possible to tell an object not to reflect itself?
I have some geometry which is made up of thousands of tiny cubes (rather than surfaces) which render with nasty artifacts.
The artifacts disappear when the object is not visible to reflections but I do need it to be reflected in other objects.
I thought I could use the trace sets to exclude the reflection of itself but that doesn't seem to work. The setting doesn't stick - when I open the trace sets window again, there is nothing in the exclude window.
Any ideas?
