  • Saved VRIMG images load darker if Exposure & Curves were enabled during save

I noticed that if I save a VRIMG image when Exposure and Curves are enabled, the next time I load the VRIMG file the image is dark and I can't fix it to match the original exposure and contrast I saved with. If I save the VRIMG without Exposure or Curves corrections, the saved file open with correct exposure and contrast, and all color corrections are conveniently enabled even though I saved it with them disabled.

Should it do this? Sometimes I forget to disable CCs like Exposure and Curves and the saved VRIMG gets ruined. I'm using the nightly from my signature.

    Hi,

Sounds very similar to one issue we have with Lens effects. Do you have them enabled in this setup?

Thanks for the reply. No lens effects were used. Here's how the image looks before saving to VRIMG and after loading the VRIMG in VFB.

As I already mentioned, I don't get this problem if I disable all CC adjustments before saving the VRIMG file. Then it loads fine and all CC adjustments are saved with it and even get automatically enabled (even though I disabled them before saving). Is this by design?
