Hi.
I'am having a bit of problem with vram usage during active shade rendering and when working with displacement. Get quite big variation with the amount of vram used for similar settings, or when i change the settings and density of the mesh that's being displaced.
In my PC I have a Titan X and a 1080 ti that's acting a bit different. Not really Vray related this issue, but strange anyhow. The first image of the graph is showing the differnce in the amount of vram used between the two cards when rendering and after the red "circle" after a active shade session.
I'am using Windows 8.1 right now.
The middle image is just some displacement I?am working on just to include something.
The last image about the vram usage list is quite far away from the vram sum i get from checking MSI afterburner GPU 2/GPU 3 memory usage.
Hard to predict what scene will fit in the card when closing up to the 11gb limit I have. Would be interesting to see some opinions about this. The best thing I had was only a Titan X for rendering in Windows 7. No things go up and down vram wise and is getting hard to predict. I'am not to fund of the 1080ti card if it's not something else that causing this issues.
And to summerise I know big parts of this topic maybe isn't Vray related but I post this here anyways
Best Regards
