I would love to be able to export a mesh with vray displacement baked in - and an ability to keep the mesh cached in memory between renders would also be great.
Simply subdividing the mesh with modifiers and using the native 3ds max displace modifier does not work, as I am using TriPlanarTex as part of mapping workflow.
I saw a similar feature request in a Maya thread, but wanted to put in my my bid for max as well.
