Since i was forced to have a look at unreal engine, i found this two shading features that i know are that sort of cheats that you would want to have phisically in your scene, but surely increase one's productivity.
I don't know if they are even possible in a pure raytracer like vray, but it would be nice additions since the demands for full cg environments gets increasingly complicated.
Pixel depth offset to cheaply blend different objects and materials and world position offset to easily animate complex objects.
