I sure would love a really quick lighting tester for the vray camera. I was reading a great book on camera raw and there is good section on the histogram and the all the info you can get from it. Would it be possible to have a histogram preview that just takes into acount the lighting range in the histogram not rendered pixels. That way you could at least know how much lighting info would be lost at current settings. It would have to be fast enough to make it worth while but just having the range of light expressed would let you know if you have to adjust the camera settings without rendering a pixel. Like a light meter.
I know nothing about coding so I don't know if this would be possible/feasable - I do think it would be desirable.
