  • Network render - Make Vray react to "Rendered Frame Window" parameter.

Love the Vray framebuffer, but every time I use it and the Memory Frame Buffer setting is set to on for previewing purposes I keep forgetting to turn it off when I submit to Backburner.
This leads to Vray's frame buffer to be used on all the slaves, consuming unnecessary memory.

Would it be possible to let Vray know that it should disable Vray's own Memory Frame Buffer when turning off the "Rendered Frame Window" in the Network Job Assignment dialogue?

I have looked for a temporary solution to basically bake in a few lines of code in a script that initiates the Network Job Assignment dialogue so whenever a network job is being submitted Vray's Memory Frame Buffer is turned off, but I can't find this setting exposed by maxscript...

Not a big problem, and not a new feature, but one less annoyance I guess.
Working...
