Hi! We run Cinema R25 at our office, Different computers (2 intel 8(16) core and 2 Ryzen 16(32) core) but same GFX card (Nvidia T1000). On our intel computers cinema hangs when we try to add new Vray materials (preview got empty).. Not if we install early versions of Vray 5, but later versions (and Vray 6). On Ryzen computer it works perfectly. Drivers are up to date. Is there something you know you had changed in Vray that works another way / use another .dll or similiar that could cause this problems?

Hi TurboG. Is the problem only with the materials or it is a general problem with V-Ray rendering? Can you try rendering a V-Ray scene without any materials - only geometry and lights? Also it might be helpful to increase the log output level (from Preferences -> Renderer -> V-Ray -> Log Output -> Verbosity) and check if there are any errors or warnings there? Finally, if there is no result from the previous steps - you could generated a minidump file that we could investigate and may help us find what is the reason for the hang (here is a brief documentation on generating minidumps).

Hi deyan.hadzhiev Problem solved, it seams like old vray versions have stored user/pw stored on one place but when you installed newer versions Vray user/pw for license is stored somewhere else? So you need to go to "manage chaos license server" and update usersettings. Maybe an "License missing" message would be good to have on startup / add materials, and not only when you push render button? We never came that far Thanks for help!
