I looked at version 6.2 and it seems that the options are locked and cannot be clicked, and there is no lighting generated

The reason for this is that V-Ray doesn't have default lights when the GI is enabled. The default light only gets activated once the GI is disabled. I hope this makes sense.

Can you modify this feature to enable default lighting only when there are no lights in the scene, instead of checking if Gi is enabled? Because Vray defaults to enabling Gi, it means that this feature is not enabled by default
