  • Blend Material Bug

    Create a blend material
put the blend material itself in the base slot
    cinema crashes (R21)

If you try to open the crashed file, it crashes again.
only removing vray from the plugin list and deleting the material, fixes that loop.

You can turn off material previews update from the preferences, maybe that would help to avoid the crash without uninstalling the software. Why do you want to put a blend material in itself? Unless you do that by mistake it sounds like a really bad idea

Hello folklore I managed to reproduce the Freeze on my machine. I will discuss it further with the team.

Could you please let us know why would you want to put the V-Ray Blend material in one of its slots? Or perhaps you made it by mistake?
