  • V-ray bitmaps with custom path input not showing up in the Project Asset Inspector

    Hi All!

This might be a bit of an edge case but after posting a thread about grouping nodes and managing complex materials with user data here: i re-aattach the scene file to this post too.

i noticed, that the bitmaps used in this scene are missing from the project asset inspector. I think this is a bug when the input field of the bitmap is form a custom field the bitmap simply ignores the file path.
This is not an issue when creating the same setup in redshift. AS i just realized that the setup is great, if the bitmaps are in an absolute path so i can move the c4d file around on a server.

Would it help if i submit this issue to support?

Hi All! Just wanted to share an interesting way to manage attributes in complex node materials. The basic idea is to create a selection of value that i want to have easy access to and add them as inputs in the node material. This is makes is easy to animate or change certain values of the materials. Or to have a quick access
