This might be a bit of an edge case but after posting a thread about grouping nodes and managing complex materials with user data here: i re-aattach the scene file to this post too.

i noticed, that the bitmaps used in this scene are missing from the project asset inspector. I think this is a bug when the input field of the bitmap is form a custom field the bitmap simply ignores the file path.
This is not an issue when creating the same setup in redshift. AS i just realized that the setup is great, if the bitmaps are in an absolute path so i can move the c4d file around on a server.
Would it help if i submit this issue to support?
