Hi all,
Since swap from NEXT to V-Ray 5 many of our old scenes are crashing during during or straight Maya Viewport 2.0 processing is finish. It happens on Maya 2019 as well as Maya 2020.2 / 2020.4.
The only solution we found for it is to keep smashing 4 (Wireframe mode) during the "Viewport Processing", but as you can imagine it is tedious as it takes up to 20 minutes for some scene to open so one literally have to keep an eye on it and press 4 at the right moment.
For now, I am gonna try to somehow find a method to force Maya to always load the scene in Wireframe, maybe by adding a line to an .env file ? - Any help on that would be appreciate it.
Does anyone else face this problem ?
