    Might have been covered, but when I relink a texture, RAW flips back to sRGB.

      Not if Color Space rules are applied in the Preferences.

        What rules would you recommend for a normal map file to maintain the RAW Color Space?

        When I add a 'Rule Priority' the 'Input Color Space' dialogue box disappears and clicking on the Cog shows 'delete'.

          Well that's more of a users preference but in my work all RAW textures are HDR, EXR , Tif and Targas, so all my Normal map textures are converted to Targa in Photoshop, but once in a while in a hurry you might grab a normal map on the internet that is a jpg so you need to keep an eye on that.
          Some folks add a letter "N" on a map so Maya sets it to RAW but I find that to be more work.
