Hi,
I would love a better way to specify where vray looks for textures if it cant find them. heres is my example:
I am working on a Mac and all our render servers are PC's, so if I create a project on my mac, it will look for textures in :
/Volumes/projectname/sourceimages
Now a PC would expect something like this:
\\servename\projectname\sourceimages
or
Y:\\projectname\sourceimages
We have the opportunity to set the environment variable on the PC, but then when we create a new project, we will have to create a new environment variable on all the PC's or worse, keep all textures in the same folder for all projects (messy)
so my request is that you get a setting in render settings where you can specify the path for different OS'es:
Enable mixed OS environment [x]
Windows path: \\RenderServer1\myProjects\client\sourceimages
Linux Path:
Mac Path:
This should be saved with the scene.
