    Is it true that given the way the progressive image sampler works, that for renders, especially higher resolution renders (4k+) that you can get away with much higher min shading rate than in the other image samplers and still have somewhat clean edges etc.?

    Also, the manual says that progressive is based on adaptive, but given that vray is looking at the whole scene while sampling vs. X amount of buckets, doesn't this effect how adaptive is going to react and look at the scene and choose where to sample?

    Maybe it's just the specifics of how the rest of my settings are, but I'm just curious if this is at all the case.
