Ok I have that on a usual case. I set the Lens Effect on one computer. Then close scene and open it on a render computer and all the settings for Lens Effects are gone.
It happens so often that I almost gave up on it.
I would suggest to move the settings to a channel output, so the user has absolute control if it is in the output or not. And also can choose which channels get saved. So for example the Glare Source layer is not really useful.
Maybe that could be done in a further step for Denoiser. I get so many channels saved that blow up my files. If you render animation and have to download 1 TB from render farm it ain't be funny anymore.
