New to VRay. I'm having difficulty getting the recessed can from the Chaos Library to be appropriately located in a bathroom I am modeling. The housing that should be buried in the ceiling seems to want to be mounted directly to the ceiling. In addition to this, when I modify the family with an offset parameter, it will show appropriately in Revit. However, the recessed can object will still render as if the housing is mounted to the ceiling surface. Any help getting more adept with this basic lighting functionality would be appreciated. Maybe I should not be modifying Vray families in Revit? In anycase, I'd just like to get the light at the proper elevation in the space. Thank you for your help.
