getting a new laptop soon.... question about processors (FSB)

hey all so i'm going to be getting a new laptop this summer. i know that rendering is 100% based off of the cpu speed, but (cpu related)..... what role does FSB play in rendering? basically, i'm going to be getting a macbook pro, and i dont know whether i should wait for the new intel platform or not. the only real difference between the current processor and montevina is an increased FSB (and maybe a base speed increase of like .1)

so, does FSB play ANY role in rendering?
