Hi,
the new reflection/refraction interpolation is great ... but not easy to change. Example: I have scene where I setup several materials with reflection/refraction interpolation at max rate -1. My client ask me for a high res rendering and I need to change all materials to max rate -2, but it' not easy to do, some can be quick overseen. After the high res rendering I want to do some further low res renderings of the scene - a global multiplier is needed. The multiplier shouldn't be a real multiplier, more an additive factor where the user set, how many steps the material factor is raised or reduced, for example +2 or -1.
Also it could be nice to temporary disable the interpolation.
Hope it can be implemented, at 3dsmax it's done per script.
Ciao,
Micha
