I posted this in the community forums, but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask here too.I know this is a basic question, but I have been having trouble consistantly getting my vray textures to scale in sketchup. I'm trying to use imported materials and have gotten them to scale before, but only on organic, forms using this method

However, when I try to simply scale a material on a flat surface, nothing works. Can someone walk me through the process or tell me what I'm doing wrong? Right now I
1. Apply a sketchup material
2. Apply my imported VRAY material
3. Render - see that the material isn't scaled correctly
3. Rescale the material in sketchup
4. Render - scale has not changed at all
This is probably something easy I'm lokoing over but your help would be appreciated. I think it has something to do with using linked materials, but I don't nkow how to turn in imported material into a linked material. Thanks ahead of time : )
