Its always kind of exciting when the frame buffer opens after parsing and the little dots begin to fill the window.
I guess what I am wondering is what am I seeing first? Is that the IR Map calcing the first bounces then the Light Cache filling in the secondary bounces (the blocky pixelated cycle), then the DMC sampler filling in all the info along with the image sampler? Assuming your are using a IR+LC setup.
I find on complex models that the first phase just sits there for a long time thinking. I have to assume this this the IR Map. Is this true?
