It would be great for vray to recognise the layer/object visibility 'switches' from scene to scene so that a batch render process of a series of stills would produce the correct output.
I have battled when having to render a series of views of a building which require foreground objects (which are background objects in other views) to be turned off in specific scenes to aid visibility. Basically you can't set up the vray batch process to render overnight as vray will set an objects visibility relative to the first sketchup scene and then use this for subsequent still camera positions irrespective of the scene specific layer visibility settings in sketchup.
So you have to do things manually... if a render takes an hour or two to complete... you have to pop by at these intervals to switch scenes and render... obviously a problem unless you sleep next to your office pc... (which i am sure some of us might do).
Thanks
Dave
