  • An Automatic Diffuse Layer with a Baked Bitmap Texture to see the UV

    Hello,

Sketchup scene views one Bitmap in the diffuse layer only, so for different type of Texture like Cellular, Checker, Grid, Mix, and Noise , etc. In the Diffuse or Bump or Displacement, we will see its UV size only after rendering.

So to see all Textures and it’s UV, I suggest to add an option to bake all the texture in all layers (Diffuse, Bump, Displacement, Reflection, Refraction, etc.) on one Diffuse layer which will be used only to see the UV in the scene and will be Disappear after the rendering like adding white color in the TexColor trick in V-ray 2, and there will be an option to update this baked texture automatically if something changed.

You may have already done something better than this idea, I think you have a lot of surprises to launch it soon
