  • OverrideMtl functionality poll

    Hi, guys

    We are planning on implementing an OverrideMtl to be able to quickly render out a clay image but we want your opinion on how that functionality should work. We have some suggestions:
    1. OverrideMtl that will be used at render and an exclude/include list for objects to be affected. Objects in the list will either have the OverrideMtl assigned to them or will be excluded and will keep their original material.
    2. OverrideMtl that will be used at render and an exclude/include list for materials to be affected. Materials in the list will either be replaced by the OverrideMtl and assigned to their respective meshes or will be excluded and will not be modified.
    3. OverrideMtl that will be used at render in which you specify which parameters you want to override, for example only Diffuse color will be overridden and you retain all other parameters of your materials such as Bump, Refraction,Reflection, etc
