Alright, new year, new releases, next try for GPU next. Well, what can I say: It still doesn't work. I have a 1080 GTX Ti with 12GB(!), and first things GPU Next says it's out of RAM. Okay, try again with mip mapped textures. Now it says the stuff in the screenshot.
Really, I don't get tired of saying how useless this is. Honestly, I try GPU whenever a new release is out, for the past 3 or 4 years. Never ever have I completed a single image in production conditions! What the hell am I doing wrong that others seem to get right? Is it the resolution? I don't render silly animations in HD res, the stuff I do is for print in resolutions beyond 10k per single image.
Another thing I encountered: I have no secondary matte slot in the environment. How am I supposed to render a car with matte shadows on a provided background?
If you need the scene, tell me.
